Potentilla nepalensis 'Miss Willmott'
Nepal cinquefoil
'Miss Willmott' is a robust herbaceous perennial and a wonderful addition to any sunny border or container.
Plants form a low mound of strawberry-like leaves, bearing branches of cup-shaped flowers that are deep pink with a contrasting crimson eye.
Potentillas are very hardy, tolerating drought, flooding and extreme cold.
They thrive in most soil conditions in sun or shade.
Plants should be sheared back after blooming, to rejuvenate the foliage.
