Lychnis x arkwrightii 'Vesuvius'

Arkwright's Catchfly

A short lived clump forming perennial with lance shaped, hairy leaves that are a bruised, bronzy purple.

The flowers are a brilliant orange-red glowing like molten lava and if deadheaded will continue from early to mid-summer.

An eye-catching easy plant that suits containers, tubs and borders.

Grow in sun or part shade in almost any soil although this variety does best with even moisture throughout the growing season. Should self seed.
