Libertia ixioides 'Goldfinger'

New Zealand satin flower

From New Zealand, an unusual evergreen with slender, sword shaped foliage.

These leaves are olive green with central yellow stripes. Pure white, starry flowers arrive in late spring.

Even more dramatic is its appearance during autumn and winter when the foliage turns golden yellow accompanied by yellow berries. Its compact and neat habit makes this a feature plant in pots or planters.

Needs winter protection.
