Geum chiloense 'Mrs J. Bradshaw'

Avens

Awarded an RHS - AGM, this is a classic, fiery little geum for the front of a border.

'Mrs Bradshaw' forms large clumps, spreading by underground rhizomes.

The hairy, dark green, basal leaves are rich in texture and the purple stems bear semi-double, saucer shaped, scarlet flowers 4.5cm in width. Easy to grow but dislikes water-logging.
