Geum chiloense 'Blazing Sunset'
A robust plant that begs attention with its flamboyant double blossoms in vivid scarlet, a blazing flash of hot colour that looks great in a vase too.
The emerald green mounding foliage is attractive and covered in tiny hairs making it less attractive to foraging animals.
Geum prefer rich, well-drained soil with a little moisture and should be cut back after flowering for flush of new growth. Deadheading encourages greater flower production.
Can be grown in tubs or borders.
