Coreopsis grandiflora 'Sunfire'
A fleuroselect award winner, 'Sunfire' is an easy, colourful, compact, well-behaved variety that produces an abundant supply of large, single, yellow blooms with burgundy-red centres all summer long.
Plant in tubs, containers or borders - wherever you want a dollop of fresh colour.
These perennials flower best and longest if they are constantly deadheaded. Shear back the flower stems to side growths or even down to the base in late July or August and they will flower into the autumn. After a second flush of flowers cut them right back again.
Plant in free draining soils that hold a little moisture but are not over-wet during winter.
