Campanula takesimana 'Bell ringers'
Korean bellflower
A very desirable and classic Campanula which is surprisingly underused.
The pink flushed blooms are well worth a closer look, as the inside of each flower is decorated with deep maroon freckles. It grows rapidly and will quickly form large clumps.
It prefers a lightly shaded spot making it useful for under-planting trees and shrubs.
A sophisticated but robust beauty originating in Korea.
