Campanula punctata f.rubriflora
Spotted bellflower
A notable spreader, this delicate looking little bellflower is a plant you can't get enough of.
It may look sweet but it's tough, originating from the more inhospitable parts of China, Korea and Eastern Siberia.
Plant in well drained, sandy soil or an alpine/rockery environment and watch it spread it's little pinky - purplish nodding heads across the garden.
It also bears little crimson spots. A kind of measles of the plant world. Delightful.
