Aconitum Uchiyamae B&SWJ 1216
Another lovely Aconitum collected by Bleddyn and Sue Wynn Jones in South Korea.
Very tall, bearing rich, deep blue 'hoods' from late summer to early autumn.
The hoods are born in profusion, are large and slightly wrinkled.
These have grown to around a metre and a half in our garden so staking is essential. They prefer a cool, moist, fertile soil in partial shade but will tolerate sun if the soil retains moisture.
A toxic plant so handle with care.
