Achillea millefolium 'Cassis'
Showy clusters of cherry-red flowers rise over a bushy mound of ferny green leaves. Achillea "Cassis" is an excellent choice for poor soils in hot, dry locations.
It is easy to grow and vigorous spreading by underground rhizomes - so give it room to grow. Lift and divide every 2-3 years to control its spread. Trim back hard after the first flush of blooms to maintain a compact habit.
Excellent for cutting and drying. A magnet for hover-bees and butterflies.
